Feeds
You can either subscribe to all of my posts or specific post categories:
- All: everything I post.
- Life Log: weekly-ish posts with personal updates and a bunch of links.
- Uncategorized: posts with no category.
What is this?
If you aren’t familiar with feeds: you’re looking at a list of my available web feeds (or RSS feeds—technically I use Atom, but they both do the same thing). Web feeds are XML files I host on this site that are updated every time I make a new post; if you copy the URL for one of these files and add it to a newsreader (or RSS reader), you’ll be notified whenever the file is updated with a new post from me, and you can even read that post in the newsreader without having to actually visit my site. This is called web syndication and it’s a really simple but powerful way to keep up with things that interest you on the internet.
If you aren’t using web feeds already and would like to get started, check out About Feeds, and if you already have a site or blog, consider implementing RSS or Atom for your blog updates! A lot of platforms support RSS including YouTube, Bluesky, Mastodon, Wordpress, Dreamwidth, Tumblr, Substack, and AO3 (imo the AO3 support isn’t very robust though).
If you’re already familiar with web feeds and want to know how mine has CSS, here is a blog post about it!
